Blood Product Details
Diseased blood specimens collected from our expansive global clinical site network, Discovery Partners®, are ethically collected and IRB consented.
Normal blood-derived products are collected from our Discovery Donor Clinic, are ethically collected and IRB consented.
Donor demographics (age, sex, ethnic background, etc.) and clinical history information are included and additional biomarker characterization services are available to help you select biospecimens that meet your study needs.
Our blood collections are shipped over night from the site of collection to your lab or to our cell processing lab depending on your preferred format and any additional characterization service requests.
Diseased Blood Specimens
Whole Blood
Whole blood from diseased patients is available from both inventory and prospective collections in a variety of volumes up to 40 mLs.
PBMCs
Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from diseased patients can be selected from inventory with cell count and viability data or prospectively collected based on custom collection criteria.
Plasma / Serum
Plasma, double-spun plasma, and serum from diseased patients are available from both inventory and prospective collections in a variety of volumes up to 20 mLs.
Normal Blood-Derived Products
MNCs and Isolated Primary Cells
A range of high-quality, viable human immune cell isolates are available from both inventory and prospective collections in a variety of volumes based on minimum cell counts.
Normal Donor Whole Blood
Whole blood from healthy normal donors is available prospectively in a variety of volumes up to 250 mLs and with your required anticoagulant (CPD, CPDA1, EDTA, or other)
Normal Plasma/Serum
Plasma, double-spun plasma, and serum from healthy normal donors are available from both inventory and prospective collections in a variety of volumes up to 250 mLs.
Blood Related Matched Sets
Our Discovery Partners® network allows for large-scale, prospective collections of high-quality matched sample sets of human biospecimens.
Each matched sample set is provided with the base clinical data from the patient case and redacted pathology information.
FFPE + Plasma + Buffy Coat – DTCs include cell population analysis and HLA-A02 typing by flow cytometry. Genomic mutation/biomarker tested donor samples (EGFR, KRAS, NRAS, MSI, and BRAF) are listed on a separate tab within the report.
DTCs + PBMCs – DTCs include cell population analysis and HLA-A02 typing by flow cytometry. Genomic mutation/biomarker tested donor samples (EGFR, KRAS, NRAS, MSI, and BRAF) are listed on a separate tab within the report.
