As a senior instructional designer at DLS Group, John writes, edits, and troubleshoots computer-based and systems documentation, online help systems, and sales and product knowledge training. He is an expert at Internet applications and a whiz at weaving online help into performance support systems.

John earned his masters degree in technical and scientific communication from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with an emphasis in computer science. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Northern Colorado. John has designed product knowledge training for several US WEST products, each of which stressed consultative selling strategies.

He also developed a five-hour CBT package for Mincom's information management system. His skill at writing has earned him the nickname "writerman" at DLS. Additionally, John is known for being under budget on every course he has developed.

John is thw 2008-2009 president of the STC Rocky Mountain Chapter and active inISPI. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, cycling, yoga, playing keyboards, and taking his American dingo for long walks.
