Stone James Kimberling James completed coursework for his masters degree in fine arts from Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois, with graduation expected in January, 2002. He also has a bachelors degree in cultural anthropology, with an emphasis on Latin-American cultures from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado. At DLS, James specializes in video and multimedia production. Most recently, he edited testimonial segments for an instructional CD designed to help Fujisawa pharmaceutical sales reps create speakers programs. He is also proficient in the creation of treatments, narrative scriptwriting, storyboarding, and a vast array of photographic, lighting, and production technologies. James also does freelance videography and directing. His clients include New Earthling Enterprises, Greeley, CO, and Stray Dogs, LLC of Chicago, IL. His work is currently screening in festivals nationwide, and has been reviewed in Variety and Screen magazines. Among his recent works are Jimda, a 56-minute documentary account of the 20-year incarceration of a man in the Colorado State Mental Hospital. The film commented on on biochemical treatment of patients in state mental institutions. Prior to his videography work, James was an instructor in English as a Second Language, both at AIMS Community College in Greeley and at Instituto Jovel, San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas Mexico. |
