Deborah
Stone Debbie Campbell Debbie completed her masters degree coursework in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) at the University of Maryland . She is currently completing her internship research in the area of learning styles as they pertain to the development of distance education courses. Debbie also has a masters degree in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School, where her thesis explored the subject of intelligent-aided computer instructional systems for CPR. Debbie boasts a wealth of intelligence domain knowledge, which she gained from over 20 years serving in the US Navy. Four of these years were spent at the National Security Agency, where she gained her intelligence domain expertise through completion of the National Senior Cryptologic course. As an off-site DLS employee, Debbie is in the midst of a comprehensive curriculum review of training provided to a variety of internal National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) employees, uniformed domestic and foreign military, civilian Department of Defense and intelligence professionals, and representatives of other U.S. federal government agencies. Debbie was asked to review course materials and, as needed, revise and reorganize them to instill a more solid instructional approach and consistency across instructors. Before joining DLS, Debbie was the training manager at Keane Federal Systems in Columbia, MD, where she was in charge of assessing needs, then developing and implementing customized courses and e-learning tools to meet these needs. She also budgeted and tracked expenses related to these interventions, and evaluated their results. In her spare time, Debbie provides adaptive ski instruction to mentally and physically challenged students at Ski Liberty in Pennsylvania. |
