Deborah
Stone David Evans David received his masters degree in computer science from the University of Denver (from DU) in June, 1998. He also has a bachelors degree in biology from DU, with minors in chemistry, computer science, and music. As a DLS strategic partner, David designs, codes, and implements web-based electronic solutions for a wide range of clients. Most recently, he was part of a design team that created a home page and personalized newsletter for Kevin Dann and Partners (KD&P), an institutional securities trading firm. The newsletter delivers in-depth, personal, customized portfolio information to KD&P's client base, a target population that has limited experience with web-based technology. David brings a wealth of systems and software engineering experience from his work at Intelisys Corporation, where he provides PC hardware and software support and troubleshooting for client and server systems. He also installs network hardware and software and administers various Windows based networking environments. As a systems engineer at Intelisys, David programmed industry level programs in Visual C++ 5.0 and FoxPro 2.6 and provided support for software customers. He also installed and configured PC hardware, provided PC troubleshooting and technical support, prepared small networks, including all wiring, hardware, and software, and acted as a client and project liaison for the company. Prior to his work with Intelisys, David was a graduate computer science teaching assistant at DU, where he prepared and presented laboratory lectures on Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, the Internet, and basic mathematics for two Core labs that consisted of 12 to 16 students. David also provided assistance in the performance of laboratory exercises. |
